Is there any true dragon blood beings about here?

Folks,

The reason I ask this of this topic is because I am searching for true blooded dragons in human form here serving our Dragon Father (an Immortal) and Dark Lord Dante (Creator of all Immortals and Life) of the Tree of Life to find others I can talk about our ways too. I am a blue healer dragon with astral ability and energy building. I am on the 7th realm of the dragon plains. I live in Portland Metro area. I do Dragon Magick only in my daily life. I take seriously my dragon blood flowing through me and my soul in this human form. Would be nice to have some knowledge of the true dragon tomes/grimiores shared to me since there are 15 levels levels in the way of dragon growth in Dragon Father's (Purson is Dragon Father's Tree of Life name) realm. It is time the true blooded dragons come out and meet forming the collective here on the earth plain as it ther eon the dragon plains. The time of hiding is over for us! When the Dark Lord returns to the earth plain, we will be ready to do his plan set to us. This post is not to flame or show disrespect towards any member here so you know. I am searchng hard for my kind more then ever now.

Dragon Points

Traditionally, Taoist sages spent much of their time as hermits in nature. In later periods, groups of men or women would form communities to pursue their alchemical search with others. But almost always, these Taoist abodes were far from cities. They were usually located in places where the chi was especially strong, often in areas designated as Dragon Points.

Dragon Points are places of convergence where one form of chi meets another. They are most dramatically seen in mountain ranges. When two ridges meet, there is often a trench or a gorge that flows down the sides of the mountains. As celestial chi (the type of chi generated in the sky) flows downward, it meets the terrestrial chi of the mountain at the point between the ridges. This is called a Dragon Point.

Where two streams or rivers converge, there is a detectable increase of chi, and this too, is called a Dragon Point. Taoist sages would search for these places and put their abodes either in the Dragon Point itself, or nearby. This made their alchemical work easier since there was a ready abundance of chi that they could draw upon in their practices.

If you could tie-dye a dragon, you would have a painted dragon.

MEETING ZAYNON...................

The dream was just very weird to me at first,until I understood what was trying to be said to me or better yet being showed.
It was a beautiful sunny day and all the sudden Zues showed in the sky and we just kind of stood there looking at each other.
Then I looked down and there was a snake there on the ground, it was a grey snake very smooth and soft, I reached down and picked him up as we looked at each other there was this almost peaceful feeling, then for some reason I got this uncontrollable urge to put the snake down.
As I did this he would bite my thumb, he would bite it so hard that I would jump and I would start to pull on him to get him off, the flesh had been torn from my thumb every time, and my thumb would go numb. I had this dream for a few weeks and every time the same thing would happen, the tearing of the flesh and the numbness of the thumb, even in my awake state this numbness went on.
I would find my self rubbing the thunb durning the day and wondering what the sumbol of the snake was so I went on line and found the picture of the grey snake...
I also went to several web sites about animal totems to find out what the snake was trying to teach me.
snake medicine is very powerful medicine in the native american cultures and it is said that someone with snake medicine has great powers...I will post more on this in the latter post on snakes...I also downloaded the snake picture so I will never forget my snake friend....
I finally made up my mind to hold onto the snake in my dream and in my consceince mind, when it came time for the snake to bite me , (because he thought i was going to put him down again, I turned him and had his face to mine this time, then he turned in to the most beatiful orange dragon I had ever seen... and then the dragon said to me, YOU HAVE FINALLY PAST THE TEST OF TRUST... I AM ZAYNON, AND I HAVE BEEN WITH YOU IN SEVERAL OF YOUR PAST LIVES AS YOUR PROTECTOR AND YOUR GAURDIAN, ALTHOUGH IT HAS TAKEN YOU LONGER IN THIS LIFE TO TRUST ME TO COME TO YOU I HAVE COME NOW....

I now know when he's with me and when he is sleeping on the other plane, I comunicate with him through thought, I know his presences and I do not fear as I use to, for I know Zaynon is always with me, and thats when I was introduced to draconic withcraft and the magick of dragons.....

Being a Dragon

I think that while I enjoy being a dragon, sometimes it can be a drag. I tend to hold onto or hoard things, emotions, stuff, memories, people, that I would be much better off leaving behind. Sometimes, all I want to do is go to my cave, with my hoard, and hide for a good century. But your friends just don't always get it, plus you need to be independently wealthy. And for a dragon, I'm notoriously broke. Well, at least I live by the truce/oath of tooth and claw and have found two other carnivores to live with in the personalities of my cats.

That, and I just HATE IT when anyone steps on my tail! Anyone else get that? I do wish people would watch where they're stepping. Ow! See? Bruised tail. Sometimes people are just so thoughtless.......

I think I'll go hide in my cave again..........

hi my name is ZAYNON, im a orange dragon and have recently found a way to communcate with my life long friend tawnymara, she was tuff to get through to in this lifetime, but i am old and wise and came to a way of being able to connect with her, i have been through several lifetimes with her and have been and will always be her guardian and protector, she never expects anything from me but i am always there and always watching, my mistress is important to me and i live within her soul, she will protect me with the fire of her soul as i will her, we have battled many, but we also love with a deep passion for life, past battles are best remembered for future reference and to draw energy from, when my mistress is angered i will show myself in her through the colour of her eyes whitch go black and narrow at the sides, her eyes are blue in colour durning normal living, just thought i would introduce both of us as a whole....

Just for pleasure I would love to hear about anyone's favorite dragon.

My favorite dragon is a sea dragon with scales made of jade and abolone shell. He has slept so long that a small reef of coral grows along the ridge of his finned back. He rests on a bed of giant oysters filled with pearls. When he wakes he is playfully destructive like a warm sea storm. Should he expel a gust of breath above water, it twould be a bile slick of digestive fluids. No dragon is entirely zen, no?

Sit in meditation - fly in your energy body from where you are to B.C, Canada/Washington State and then plundge down deep into the Earth. To me it looks like a huge cavern but it can be different for everybody. It is a major hub for beings helping with the Shift so not everyone down their is dragon. I'll bet that a lot of folks from "DragonTribe" are already back and forth to Dragon City in sleepstate. The aspect of me that is dragon is called Aeolus.

Dragon Sharing
For those interested, there's a dragon city roughly under the location of Vancouver, B.C. Canada/Vancouver, Washington, deep in the earth. It is a beginning access point If you desired to work with and understand their energies. The Dragons are awakening and coming back. 4 or 5 arrived from the Pleiades a couple of months or so ago. Very intense I must say, and their energies are hard to handle upon occassion, but they too would like to bring forth some of their healing ways and share it with us. They can be quite shy. Ask for 'Me'ier' who has volunteered to be a go-between, an embassador.

One of their originating planets, Ch'e'lan (which has multi-dimensional meanings I will write about another time), evolved into the higher realms of light and love. As part of their travels out into the universe during their end days they disconnected parts of their energies from their matter/earth core in order to travel. In their travels to other systems and planets this became a core part of their being, this knowledge of connect and disconnect. One of the things they are doing here now among us is working with their own knowledge of loss of connection to core, to Mother, to Gaia. They have chosen to incarnate within this city within the earth's energetic core for the time being to begin this understanding of reconnection to Mother, to Nature, to Gaia for and with all of us. In this way they can begin the work of connect and reaquaintance with their own roots, our beloved selves and their lost connections with the Elven ways, the divine ways.

They too have a 'way', much like that of the elvens. It is called the Way of the Dhar'lan. It is multi-lingual, rich with depth and meaning. Me'ier says that she will share more of this way in the future but would like for you to meditate on its meanings first. The Dragons, like all guides, have their own ways of teaching and blending, and like the Mother are needing some time to blend their energies with others. They would also like to make sure they are indeed welcome among the populace before they bring too much forward. Their primary creation materials are akin to that of the aboriginals in that they work basically with the earth, wind, fire, air structures of creation.

Be a Part of the 2006 Burning Man World Record Dragon!

The TriBe is planning another large scale art project for Burning Man 2006, and we'd like to invite you and your friends to be a part of it. In 2006 we are going to break the Guinness Worlds Record for the longest Chinese Festival Dragon! The current record is 1.89 miles, set at the great wall of China. We will attempt to break that record by connecting 530 twenty foot body sections together on the playa.

Made From HULA HOOPS!
Here's the easy part. Each section is made from HULA HOOPS - PVC SPRINKLER PIPE AND BED SHEETS... that's It! There are no special tools or expensive materials required. You can decorate it as much or as little as you want. The fiery and animated head will be created by Burning Man artist Jim Bowers, creator of the Eyes Of Gawd.

I was at a nursery then I walked into the building part of it and was looking at magazines. I walked out the store and came back in and went back to the magazines. but this time out of nowhere it was like I jumped backwards in the air and caught flight.. then spit fire out and everyone looked then I came back down and walked out the store.. then I walked back in and went to the front worker and asked something and he told me to follow him.. He took me to a office and there was someone in there that looks like someone I know but it wasnt him.. cause this guy had tattoo sleeves. I told him I wanted a dragon on my back and he said he would do it.. then I woke up..

whats funny was when I went to sleep I was tryin to channel a friend that passed away, pigs(cause they bring money), and a wolf... but I got that instead

Can any of you recommend Dragon friendly cards? I've tried the Dragon Tarot and the Celtic Dragon Tarot, and neither one quite speaks to me. My Druid Animal Oracle is good for some readings, but it's more like using Medicine Wheel Cards than tarot cards, which are different types of readings. Any body else heard of other sets? Just curious.

I have been a bit caught up in the elemental cycle that we and our planet are riding through at the moment. I was just curious since I see few new threads and chatter. Have you been listerning to the accelerating pace of our society at large? This cycle is crumbling and in need of stalwoth dragons. Are any of you dragons hearing the call of awakening that is speaking from the core of mother earth at the present time? I find that a lot of global citizens are in need of your strength and wisdom? Do you hide your powers or expect some one else to fly in the face of danger, when no one else will? We have been busy building a tribe of Omni Love on another page here in tribes. Please check it out and if you can love your smelly dragon self than your in, if you want. You are certainly welcome, but it does require full on heart flame and dragon breath, claws of steele and far vision. Practice compassion for (all )=(Omni). All aboard the Ancient Sunlight Express

M eye tu sense.

It has been hypothesized that the quickest way to another point is a straight line. As humans we hungrily search for another point with our natural curiosity for perfection. A point where we are not being strangled by our own mistakes and worse yet everybody else's too. A place where the least are safe in the nest. A hunger for the sweet spot, mother’s breast, a rest.
Meanwhile we are riding through a unique series of astral-geo-bio-social-spiritual-environmental events unfolding in a complex mathematical multidimensional vortex. North goes south, cold gets hot, ozone more is not while we sit and honk, waste and swindle. As glaciers melt forests burn without clean air and water our species dwindle.
It seems like we are making a bee line for the end zone in our minds, spirits and dreams. While our bodies are relaxed from the couch to the ground, all over the world watching Football Soccer, NASCAR, Hockey, Stocks, Sex, Violence, Wrestling, Cartoons, News and Marketing.
Maybe that’s just to keep us entertained through the flight. That way we won't look out the window and notice the mayhem. We can focus sharper on simple things like beer and butt, sweat and dirt. We might hurt ourselves in a panic of startled awakening if we caught wind of the dangers. Pass the nuts. I think I’ll stay busy till they turn on the seat belt sign it's going to be a turbulent ride to the next point.
Doing little things like smiling, bowing and lending a hand, will make a difference now more than ever. Will you join me for the continuing adventures on the Ancient Sunlight Express? And will you please assist the fellow passengers. Especially the least of the least, man or beast, we are here for them. They are Us and there is no distance between that point.

Asheville, NC: dance trade

Hey all,
Sorry to bug y'all with a cross-post, but I want to extend this opportunity to as many folks as I can...its a win/win situation if I can get in touch with the right folks.

I am a bellydance teacher and performer with a dance company, band and dance studio. Bellydance as most folks these days know is an embracing artform that has room for all folks: gemder, size, religion - there are goddessdancers and more in our mix.
My original dance teacher honored barter with me and that generosity allowed me to grow into a professional dancer and instructor. So, I am committed to holding that possibility open for other folks, out of respect for what she did for me.
Over the years, there have usually been folks who helped out with basic tasks in exchange for bellydance classes. Right now, however, there arent enough. Is there anyone out there who has an interest in dance, is honest and reliable, but has more money than time?
We always need folks to help maintain the studio, do basic childcare, hang posters for events, do errands, do sound, etc. etc.

sea dragon pride

I at last made my sea dragon costume so that I can become a dragon when I swim thru the sea. Sadly I didn't encounter any boats full of gold to destroy!
Does anyone else here ever try to move like a dragon? I have been practicing different dragon dances for a little while.

Taking magic seriously

At the eve of new year 2000 I made a special prayer, as I have traditionally done for years.

I had been trying to invision how we might get from here to there. Trying to see how we might expedite the healing of the planet once humanity's consciousness is ready to stop biting the hand that feeds. I'm sorry but a quarter million years for the half-life of radioactive waste does not work for me. And what about all this asphalt and damns? The thought of these issues led me to my prayer: to learn transmutation. Transmutation is what gives rise to alchemy: taking something common-place and turning it into something precious (e.g. turning lead into gold). I asked to learn alchemy so that we could convert the radioactive waste into power food for us or plants.

Upon making this formal prayer I received a new ally who I later identified as St Germain: Keeper of the violet flame of transmutation. The first task lesson I was given (which I have been working on now for 5 years) was to learn to recognize the majic in all things. Then I would be able to better understand majic and how to create it. Nature provided me with a metaphoric example: the rainbow greeting me in the morning from a spot on the ground. I caught myself immediatly wanting to investigate: is it a diamond ring someone dropped? or a broken piece of glass? or just a dew drop? ....and where do I get off calling it "just" a dew drop? It was a magical rainbow greeting me in the morning and I took away the magic (my opportunity to experience it) by my understanding through physical law. aaaaha! I realized I need to ignore physical law to see and understand spiritual law.

Physical law is not law at all. It is merely obseration of patterns. When there is an anomaly or exception, we call it a miracle or we fine tune the physical "law" to encompass consistent exception.

Overlooking, or looking beyond physical law seems necessary to see and understand spiritual law. I believe that understanding spiritual law can reveal to us opportunity to create magic. Knowing how and when there is a good opportunity to co-create an exception to the limitations of physical law. Miracle, magic, co-creating....it's all kinda the same isn't it?

Happy New Year! It is interesting that Capricorn leads us into each new year, offering us lessons to carry us through our tests and trials. As we learn, we can claim the victory of courage and the satisfaction of knowing the strength of our spirit.

The Sun is in the land of Capricorn between December 21 and January 18th. The Cancer Full Moon comes the day after Christmas, December 26 at 7:07 am PST and 3:07
PM GMT. The Sun is at 5 degrees Capricorn and the Moon is at 5 degrees Cancer. The Capricorn New Moon is January 10th at 4:03 am PST or 12:03 PM GMT. Both the Sun and the Moon are at 20 degrees Capricorn.

Sagittarius challenges us to find our personal path -- and not just any path. We must define a path with a purpose. We must commit to this path with all our heart. Capricorn gives us the earth energy to ground the fire of desire of Sagittarius. We take our passion for our vision of our life and we live it every moment of each day. We explore and embrace it with every step we take. We discipline ourselves to devote every breath to the realization of our life goals.

THE PATH UP THE MOUNTAIN OF LIFE

The mountainous terrain of Capricorn can be experienced as either a laborious trial or a destiny path. Capricorn is the last to believe in or advocate a free lunch. The practical mountain goat knows that life doesn't work like the lottery. Capricorn is willing and able to do the work. With patience the goat slowly and methodically climbs to up the mountain of life, one sure step at a time. The goat's life long trek can be experienced in isolation, fraught with adversity. Or it can be experienced as a quest for self-empowerment, where each challenge met brings a deep sense of satisfaction.

The practical goat teaches us that if we are realistic about, and respectful of, our inner and outer resources, we do not have to feel a sense of desperation or lack. Inner anguish is not created by life's challenges, but by abdicating our inner authority and misusing our power. We must learn to accept what is our responsibility and not take on the burden of that which is not. Saturn, Capricorn's teacher, reminds us that our intention is to consolidate, not to control or to compete. Our strategy is to manage, not to manipulate. We lose energy and authority with a negative approach. With a willingness to grow, we gain power, authority and are able to manifest our dreams.

INNER LEADERSHIP

Capricorn is the archetype of leadership. Capricorn is the tenth sign of the zodiac and sits at the top of our birth chart. If we have integrated the lessons of the first nine signs, we are ready to step out into the world in a leadership role. But there is a personal prerequisite for our worldly destiny path. We must first
take a leadership role in our personal life. We must learn to take responsibility for our thoughts, words and actions. We must be willing and able to be accountable for what we create.

Inner leadership means that we take responsibility for

(1) defining our own boundaries

(2) setting our own standards

(3) knowing our purpose and honoring it

(4) defining our needs and making sure they are met

(5) validating and supporting ourselves

(6) giving approval to ourselves instead of looking for it outside ourselves.

We recognize our own limitations and figure out how to live gracefully within them. We also acknowledge our gifts and develop them with discipline, patience and gratitude.

As we proceed in our process, it is essential to keep in mind that if we ignore or question our inner voice, we are listening to, influenced by or controlled by some authority other than our Soul.

CAPRICORN/CANCER INTEGRATION

The dynamic of the Capricorn/Cancer polarity is active during the full period of the Sun in Capricorn. The outer/inner dance is highlighted at the Cancer Full Moon on December 26th when the Sun opposes the Moon. The dynamic Cancer/Capricorn interaction, which highlights both conflict and the possibility of resolution, continues through and even past the Capricorn New Moon January 10th. The Sun and Moon both at 20 degrees Capricorn are opposed by Saturn retrograde at 24 degrees Cancer. Saturn will complete its over two-year term in Cancer in July. We are being challenged to connect to our emotions and to use them to guide our actions.

Cancer is the tender underbelly of our emotions. Cancer facilitates our inner healing by connecting us to our feelings, family and the Divine Feminine. Cancer is our home inside our body. Cancer represents how we perceive our relationship to our
home the Earth. Our Cancer home base must feel solid and secure for us to feel safe and confident in the world.

Our leadership capabilities must first be directed to securing our home environment - our psyche, our physical body, our living situation and our connection with nature. When we feel comfortable in these domains, we can take a firm foundation of Self into the world. This is absolutely critical because of the nature of our challenge in the world. Everyday we face the unknown. No matter how repetitious and seemingly predictable our daily routine, it is a fact of time-based reality, that no moment
is ever exactly the same.

THE UNKNOWN AND LEADERSHIP

The unknown factor is compounded dramatically if we define the purpose of our path to innovate, to create something new and to leave a legacy. In this case, we are not just accepting the unknown as it presents itself to us. We are walking into the unknown with vision that we are intent upon bringing into manifestation. We are stepping up to the plate of destiny with a design to be implemented. We are accepting the cloak of a leader. We are volunteering for a leadership role in our community. We are engaging the commitment to making the world a different place because we came here for a visit.

To play a leadership role, we have to perceive beyond the limits of status quo reality. Envisioning a better world is not that hard to do. The real challenge is that we have to transcend the boundaries of our own mental parameters and emotional projections to make it happen. To do so, personal transformation is required. Emotional maturity is the foundation that will allow us to deal with the challenges that confront us on our journey.

We qualify to take an authentic leadership role in the world when we can work through and offer our presence to situations needing healing, guidance and inspiration. Everyone knows how to be confrontational, even though some are more adapt and manipulating others through intimidation and conniving. But the ability to control others through fear and judgment are not the skills of a true leader. A true leader inspires others through kindness, compassion, courage, tolerance and living the truth. These skills are cultivated internally. The love of Mother Cancer supports an authentic Capricorn authority. As we say YES to our destiny path, inner and outer meet in the peaceful integrity of our own heart.

SELF-MASTERY

Capricorn is the sign of self-mastery. Under Capricorn's rule, we claim the chalice. We find the Holy Grail. Obviously not an easy path, our integrity is continually challenged on many levels. We meet our fears, doubts and insecurities. We encounter external resistance, which simply mirrors our inner resistance and lack of self-esteem or self-worth. These challenges could not access our psyche if there were no holes of doubt and fear inside ourselves which allow them to enter.

It is critical that we understand and accept the developmental context within which we are being challenged. If we are striving for self-mastery, we have to build our internal power and our connection with our own authority. We are not going to become self-empowered simply by thinking it is a good idea. We have to meet the collision with life head on.

We build our power by facing our doubts and fears about ourselves and our integrity. We grow into a position of power by reducing and eventually eliminating our negative self-talk.

VISIBLE AND INVISIBLE LEADERS

We are not all destined to be visible leaders. But if we change our consciousness and hold the space of peace and love in our psyche, we are playing a leadership role. Shifting our internal space is the first and most important criteria to play either a silent or a vocal leadership role in the Aquarian Age.

We are not born into a leadership position or simply anointed. A part of us always questions the implications of moving into a bigger arena. Do we want to accept the responsibility involved? Do we feel worthy? Can we handle the commitment? Can we move beyond our personal concerns and be neutral and inclusive? Will we be able to use a position of power to serve and not to abuse? Can we stay true to the higher cause and mission and not get derailed by personal gain or loss? Is this what I really want to do with my life? All these questions knock at the door of our own fear and self doubt.

THE ISSUE OF INTEGRITY

The seed of integrity is found inside ourselves. There are very fundamental prerequisites for inner integrity. We must know what we want out of life and take a stand for ourselves. We must be guided by our own inner authority. We must listen to our inner guidance and be able to define our needs, our desires, our path - our personal stand in life. The problem that many of us face is that we don't have our own identity and authority defined. In this any many lifetimes we have been placed in the role of creating harmony and consensus by abdicating our not only our point of view, but our values.

Yes, consensus is the only real way to create peace. We should maintain this goal. However, playing the energetic role of consensus maker without listening to and honoring our own guidance creates internal conflict, negativity and feelings of
victimization.

Only superficial consensus is achieved by using the energy of those who relinquish their own identity and integrity to support the bullies that demand to have their own way. The Aquarian age is demanding more of us than to be sacrificial lambs to those who control power and resources by exploiting those who can be intimidated or don't have the guts to stand up for their own truth.

The role of conscious consensus building is not possible without first establishing our own inner authority. Once we are able to listen to ourselves, we are able to listen to others. If we aren't listening, we either fester or manipulate to try to get our way. Real peace is not the product. When we can listen to everyone,
we can find common threads. We are able to negotiate and build real consensus.

PERSONAL INTEGRITY

Personal integrity requires us to identify the extent to which we define our position by first finding out what others want and then fitting in. We also have to get in touch with why we do this? We are either afraid of conflict and confrontation or we don't know what we want and we think it is easier to find out the options
acceptable to others before making our choices. If we are really honest, it is embarrassing to admit the extent to which we cater to others out of fear. This dis-ease is called co-dependence.

We must examine the "embarrassing" factor, which is our self-doubt, shame and questioning of our own authority. This is an indicator of a lack of self-esteem and self-worth. Our discomfort registers our lack of personal integrity - defined as acknowledging, defining and legitimizing our needs, our identity, our worth and our path. We all have work to do here.

FROM PERFECTIONISM TO REALISM

In order to establish our inner integrity, we have to have realistic criteria by which we can evaluate ourselves and grow. Herein lives one of the most fundamental blocks. We have set standards that we cannot possibly meet - perfect and perfection! The perfectionist touchstone condemns everyone, except the deluded, to failure.

To establish a sense of inner integrity, we have to start out by internalizing the following facts of human life -

(1) Reality on planet Earth is anchored in the unknown. We live in the unknown. We simply can't know in advance what is going to happen. Every day we enter new territory.

(2) What happens is influenced by our participation. The extent to which we participate (and that extent is unknown) depends on what we think and do. We consciously co-create to the extent that our intentions, expectations, words and actions are conscious.

(3) The name of the game in physical reality is growth and evolution. We grow and learn by making choices and witnessing the results. The law of cause and effect is our teacher.

(4) All humans have needs, desires, lessons to learn and goals to work toward in each lifetime. The more conscious we are of the above and the more we honor our unique identity as well as our human condition, the more we will live in integrity with ourselves.

Accepting the above as givens, the best we can do cannot be measured against perfection. The best we can do is to moment by moment do the best we can do. We can listen to ourselves, support ourselves and make the best choices we can given the information available. The conditions and the information are never going to perfect. At the end of the day we can reaffirm our integrity by knowing in our heart that we did the best we could.

THE DANCE IS A GAME WE PLAY TOGETHER

An absence of personal inner authority creates self-doubt and stress. The result is that we often react defensively. We think we have enemies, when in fact we only have antagonists who dance with us to help us define and claim our power. Someone will question us, until we are clear and stop questioning ourselves. The players of the game confront us until we can calmly say NO when we require NO and YES when we choose YES. We have to train ourselves to listen to our own guidance and to feel how this process creates inner peace. We have to become aware of how adjusting to others' wishes creates inner conflict. We are all learning. We are all teaching each other the same lesson.

As we learn to identify powerless patterns, we can acknowledge ourselves for this awareness. Instead of judging ourselves, we can be kind to ourselves. When we are kind to ourselves, we can relax and are better able to get in touch with what we want. We notice that we feel calmer when we listen to and identify our position. When we know what we need, we can figure out how to get it.

At the end of the day, we can be thankful that we took care of ourselves. We have honored our life, our soul and the Divine within. This is personal integrity. This is taking a leadership role in our own lives. By doing so we open ourselves to new expanded possibilities. When we turn off the light and tuck ourselves in, we are at peace, in integrity with ourselves

EXERCISE AND MEDITATION

While the Sun is in Capricorn, we need to activate our internal fire so that our earth energy doesn't get stagnant, causing us to feel depressed. Active exercise is good. Running in place with punches 1-3 minutes in each direction - north, south, east and west - is a good work out to generate fire, release anger and get your energy moving. If you have a mini trampoline, use it.

When you are done, stand still and then sit quietly and be with your awareness inside our skin. Feel both your life force and the weight of gravity that keeps you solidly in your body and connected to the earth. This is a good time to connect with and
listen to your inner authority. If you wish, use the above discussion to guide your self inquiry. Remember, the Divine within you is the only authority you can trust 100% of the time.

This may sound like a stupid question.
Is there a difference between naming a dragon than naming a dog?
Is there a place to go, to get some ideas for naming dragons?
I'm new to this type of stuff, so I hope you all understand my questions. I'm not trying sound like I'm a total idiot.

The first time I ever had acupuncture done during the time where I was relaxing with the needles in I had this whole image of a red dragon consuming and putting me through the rebirthing process..
Recently I decided I needed to go back to Acupuncture and I look up and low and behold red dragons on the walls..

Parrot's death latest threat to woman in prayer case

GREAT FALLS -- About a dozen pagans gathered at Town Hall on Monday to show support for Great Falls resident Darla Wynne. Last week, Wynne returned home from dinner with a friend and discovered one of her parrots had been beheaded and his heart cut out, she said.

A note attached to the back of Little One, Wynne's 8-year-old African gray parrot, said, "You're next!"

"I was frantic looking for his little head, and later I did find his heart," Wynne said tearfully. "They want me to leave this town. I feel so responsible for this. I shouldn't have gone out to dinner."

Great Falls Police Chief Mike Revels confirmed the threatening message to Wynne and said an investigation continues. Police found no evidence of a burglary and were unable to collect fingerprints, Revels said.

"Forensic evidence on the note was destroyed and there was no other physical evidence found," Revels said. "The case is ongoing."

Wynne, a Wiccan high priestess, filed a lawsuit in 2001 against Great Falls for invoking the name of Jesus Christ in council prayers. Federal courts ruled in favor of Wynne, saying the prayers were unconstitutional. Town officials, who have the support of the state attorney general, have appealed the case.

Last week's incident was one of a string of break-ins at Wynne's home. Great Falls police have responded to at least 10 calls of reported vandalism at her residence in the past year or so, Revels said.

"She's had a lot of problems," Revels said. "But we haven't been able to link anybody to any of the incidents."

Many of the town's 2,200 residents regard Wynne as a witch and disapprove of her pagan faith, she said. The vandalism has ranged from destruction of her cars to several of her animals being poisoned, Wynne said.

"No one will say anything," Wynne said. "They think they're protecting their own."

Katie Glenn of Asheville, N.C., said she was in Great Falls on Monday to support Darla and "let everyone know we're human."

"I find it deplorable to see other people, who come in the name of Christianity, judge others so harshly," Glenn said.

Wynne said she has endured numerous verbal and written threats. She received by mail a booklet, "Thou Shalt not Suffer a Witch to Live," and said a man yelled at her, "Witch, you're going down."

Twice last week before her bird was killed, Wynne said she received threats in the mail.

During Monday's Town Council meeting, about a half-dozen supporters gathered with Wynne outside Town Hall. Several more attended the meeting inside. Wynne's friends posted an e-mail about the beheading of her bird and people from both Carolinas, Texas and Detroit came to offer support.

Revels and several uniformed officers attended the meeting to keep everyone safe, the chief said.

Wynne's friend Donna Hudson of Columbia said Wynne has been persecuted by town officials.

"I believe all pagans, basically all Americans, should be concerned about the situation that has developed here," Hudson said. "The very community that should be supporting her is violating her rights."

Mayor H.C. "Speedy" Starnes wouldn't comment directly on the incident, saying only he believed the town still has a strong case.

Wynne said she will continue her court battle and won't leave town. She said she is saddened that her remaining parrot, Baby, is lonely for his companion.

"Birds mimic what they hear," Wynne said. "Baby cries because he's heard me crying and he's lonely for his friend, Little One."

One life saved by a dragon's protections

A week ago my best friend was hit head on by a drunk driver. By all accounts, he should be dead.

He has 2 broken legs, a broken pelvis bone, broken ribs, broken clavicle bone, broken collar bone, both cheek bones are broken, left eye socket is fractured, and chin is broken, currently his jaw is wired closed around a ventilator tube.

The doctors said he will walk again after they spent many hours putting his legs back together. His road to recovery will be a very long one.

How was he saved by a dragon? When we first met several years ago, my dragon took notice of him. She made me, well nearly demanded, that I place a ward of protection on him. I asked him if I could, not wanting to do so without his consent. He was fine with me doing so.

Star made it Very clear to me today that that ward was the reason he still lived. It has left me very shaken and in awe of her powers.

I do has to say that I am very thankful that she chose to save him.

Dragons in my life now...

Hey all -
A quick summary:
I have had dragons in one form or another "in" my life for the past 4 or more years (not my whole life, certainly). Recently dragons have come to the forefront in my dreams, and daydreams, and fictional writing. In particular, a red dragon, who is feisty and challenges me, but becomes my companion after a brief encounter.

My question:
What do red dragons signify, as opposed to other dragons? I have done some very brief research online, but have not found anything that truly explains this.

Also - any recommendations about dragon lore, types of dragons, etc, is welcomed!

Here's a recommendation for all the dragon tribe interested in trance states. I've only gone through a small portion of the book, but it has such a wide range of ideas in it. The author Jan Fries has an ecclectic approach to both magick and trance. The book touches on traditions worldwide, and practices ancient to very modern.
